The Collective Scientific and Production Firm “Elna” (CSPF “Elna”) was established by the leading experts of the Electric Welding Institute named after E.O. Paton, candidates of the technical sciences in the field of build-up welding and powder metallurgy. The main firm’s activity is the development, production and implementation of powdered wires for welding and build-up welding with open welding arch and with fusing agent.

  The products of the CSPF “Elna” is used both at largest plants and industrial complexes and at small enterprises to restore worn equipment, still parts exposed to hot gases, wear and corrosion; in particular: ship engines’ piston crowns, boring and drilling equipment parts. CSPF “Elna” together with Electric Welding Institute named after E.O. Paton also develops new substances and equipment for welding and buil-up welding.

  Presently, CSPF “Elna” is among four largest manufactures of the powdered wires and ten leading exporters of buil-up powdered wires in Ukraine.
