PURPOSE AND SPHERE OF APPLICATION

  • The wire is used for welding of metal structures from low-carbon constructional steels of the brands St3, St4, 10, 15, 20, as well as at low modes from St5 steel more than 5 mm thick mostly during site works and open shops. Welding of metal covered with scale or a little rust layer is allowed.
  • Typical application objects: building metal structures, technological reservoirs and pipelines, agricultural machines assemblies, railway equipment.   

 WELDING AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

  • Arcing stability is high enough, metal transfer is fine-droplet, joint has a favorable shape and appearance. Wire possesses a deep penetration weld of base metal.
  • Slag uniformly covers the surface of joint, removability is good.
  • Wire consumption factor is Fc=1.05 … 1.2.

WELDING TECHNOLOGY

  • Welding is performed using reverse polarity direct current.
  • It is recommended for welding of metal 5 mm thick.
  • Wire position during welding is perpendicular to the joint or with a tilt "back angle".
  • It is recommended to avoid directing arc exactly to the root of corner joints. Welding should be finished with a smooth arc breaking.

  • It is recommended for welding of building structures, mining equipment and metal structures of agricultural machinery.

  • Arcing stability is high, metal transfer is fine-droplet, welding ability of splashes is weak.
  • Slag uniformly covers the surface of joint, removability is good.
  • High resistance to cracks and pores formation.
